Terms and Conditions

 

These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without prior notice.

 

The placing of an order denotes the knowledge and acceptance of these terms and conditions.

 

General

  1. Product Ownership – Title, legal or beneficial, to any goods supplied by the company does not pass to the customer until payment has been received in full.

  2. Product Descriptions - All heights and descriptions are approximate and are not subject to a guarantee of accuracy.

  3. Alterations – The Company reserve the right to alter prices and specifications or to discontinue any item without prior notice to customers. Substitutions will be made for out of stock items to complete order.

  4. Availability of products – All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If the products for any reason are unavailable we will offer an alternative product or remove them from the order if applicable.

  5. Annual / Perpetual awards and trophies for engraving – Please note ALL Annual Awards that remain in our care for engraving is on the understanding that they will be insured by yourself or your association against theft or accidental damage. We, for our part, will replace awards lost from our care through an act of theft, up to a value of £150 retail per item with a max replacement of £1000 retail for all awards from your Association in our care. This will be for us to replace with the replacements being supplied by W. R. DAVIS & SON, close to the original as possible, and will not be in any other form of compensation. We will repair or replace any trophy or award that is damaged by us by accident, other than through poor condition of trophy or award, with a suitable substitute if original is unavailable.

 

Services

  1. Engraving – The Company we are not liable for engraving errors due to incorrect information and/or spellings supplied by the Customer. In this situation, replacements will be provided at cost.  On engraved products, all layouts are at the discretion of our engravers unless specified by the customer.  In the unlikely event that a mistake is made by the Company, we will arrange for a replacement to be provided.

  2. Glass Engraving & Printing - A high quality image must be provided that can be quickly vectorised for engraving or printing. Image is provided by the Customer any additional work required on the image may incur extra cost.

  3. Your Own Association / Club Logo acrylic centres – A high quality image must be provided by the Customer any additional work required on the image may incur extra cost.

 

Discounts, Prices & Payment

  1. Extra discount early order and pay deals – The extra discount is allowed only if the payment date is strictly adhered to, if these terms are not met then full payment must be paid.

  2. Discount Savings – Discount applies to product value only and does not apply to additional services including delivery, special club logo's, engraving etc. Products may be excluded from discount saving deals at the discretion of W. R. DAVIS & SON.

  3. Price Match – Where applicable the Company will match or beat any genuine like for like product from our current range of trophies where applicable and applies at time of sale and will not apply after order has been placed. Price Match applies to full priced items only and does not include sale or clearance items.

  4. Credit Accounts – The Company does not operate credit accounts. Terms are strictly payment in advance or by prior arrangement on collection / delivery.

  5. New Customers Deposit – New Customers may be asked for a 30% deposit especially when ordering items which involve engraving of silverware & glass or the manufacture of special motifs, medals etc.

  6. Unpaid Cheques – A charge of £30.00, will be made on any cheques returned to us unpaid, whatever the reason.

 

Delivery

  1. Orders placed for despatch by carrier or post will only be despatched after receipt of payment.

  2. Delivery shortages – It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the carrier's delivery consignment note. Any shortages must be notified to us within 48 hours of delivery.

  3. Incorrect goods – It is your responsibility to notify us of any incorrect goods supplied within 48 hours of delivery.
